The NASA Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter circling Mars took a shot of all of you and me at the closest point in our orbits last October. The image is adjusted; the Earth is way brighter than the moon.

I don’t know if this is the fourth planet from the Sun or an island off Italy. I guess I can’t tell Mars from Elba.
